Antonello da Messina is back in the Museum of Cefalu
"The Portrait of a Man" by Antonello da Messina is back home.
"The Portrait of a Man" by Antonello da Messina is back in its exhibition hall of the Museum Mandralisca in Cefalu. The famous painting was one of the most admired masterpieces of the exhibition "Leonardo 1452-1519.

The exhibition, which closed on July 19, was inaugurated on 15 April 2015. The event, recorded thanks to the presence of "The Portrait of a Man" by Antonello da Messina, 235,000 visitors, with a daily average to 2,415 people, and it is considered by experts, one of the masterpieces of Italian Renaissance art.
We can safely say that the work of Antonello of Messina came back in his loving village, Cefalu.
