Events in Cefalu

Three days of events, meetings, shows, tastings that will framing to the main event, one of the most awaited now in Cefalu: the "Sailing Regatta of the most beautiful villages in Italy", this year  in its fourth edition.

To contend for the trophy in 2015, sailing in front of the beautiful coastline of the "pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea", will be about 15 teams. Entries will be  close on Friday, June 5th. After the registration deadline will be drawn to associate with each boat municipalities that take part in the event.

 

The feature that makes this race one of the core events of the illustrious circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy is the Expo of the Villages: all participating municipalities take their stand, creating on the promenade a real showcase of its promotional local products and tourism services offered in their territories.

Partner of the city of Cefalu, in the realization of this edition of the race are: The Club of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, the Italian Naval League, the Cefalu Sailing Club, the GAC (Gulf of Termini Imerese), the GAL - Madonies  and the 'authority of Madonie's park.

dal 30 maggio al 15 giugno (10.30 – 13.00 e 17.00 – 20.30) – Mostra “Contemplando il mare“ opere pittoriche di Giuseppe Cimino e Patrizia Milazzo  – Ottagono Santa Caterina

 

Venerdì 5 Giugno    

Dalle 15.00 alle 20.00 La tenuta Bordonaro apre le porte: battesimo della sella e cavalgiocare (prove di equitazione per grandi e piccini)

Ore 17.30       Banda Itinerante

Ore 18.00       Cerimonia Alzabandiera e Apertura Ufficiale della IV Regata Velica de “I Borghi più belli d‘Italia” – Piazza Colombo

Ore 18.15       Apertura Stands e degustazione  di prodotti ittici  “Le delizie del mare”

Ore 19.00       spettacolo folk  – Piazza Colombo

Ore 21.00       REGATA PARTY alle VELLE   “I Borghi più belli d’Italia”    

 

Sabato 6 Giugno

Ore 10.00       Regata Velica – Partenza da Termini Imerese – Zona Campo Boe di 18 miglia. Partiranno inizialmente le imbarcazioni da diporto. A seguire la partenza della regata

Ore 11.00       “Viaggio esperienziale nei Borghi più belli di Sicilia e presentazione del portale turistico del Gac Golfo di Termini Imerese” tavola rotonda  – Teatro Cicero

Dalle 14.00 alle 16.00 – Passaggio del “ XXV Giro di Sicilia “  gara di regolarità classica di  auto storiche – centro storico

Ore 16.00       Arrivo della 1° prova della Regata Velica de “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” – Molo – Partenza II prova, regata nel Golfo di Cefalù davanti al lungomare. Tempo limite per le imbarcazioni ore 19.00

Ore 18.00       Partenza della tradizionale “Fruottula” da Piazza Duomo.

Ore 18.30       L’Officina dei sapori: Show Cooking a cura dell’Istituto Alberghiero di Cefalù – degustazione di prodotti ittici offerti da “Pesce Azzurro Cefalù” – Piazza Cristoforo Colombo

Ore 19.00       Spettacolo itinerante

Ore 20.00       Cerimonia di Premiazione dei vincitori della IV regata Velica de ”I borghi più belli D’Italia” – Piazza colombo

Ore 20.45       Proiezione della finale di Champions League Juventus Barcellona – Piazza Colombo

 

Domenica 07 giugno             

Ore 11.00       Partenza della passeggiata velica “veleggiando  tra i borghi”

Ore 12.00       Itinerario del gusto :  Tra mari e monti   Visita guidata nel centro storico con tappe degustazioni

Ore 16.00       Laboratorio per bambini “ I colori del Mare”

Ore 18.30       Un mare di “cake design”: scultura artistica e cup cakes a cura di Maestri pasticceri – Piazza Colombo

Ore 21.15       Cerimonia di ammaina bandiera  – Piazza Colombo

Ore 21.30       Spettacolo Musicale “Lassatillabballari”  a cura del GAL Madonie – Piazza Colombo
